CLG Successful in Products Liability Claim before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals
The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals recently affirmed summary judgment in favor of the firm’s defendant / client in a major personal injury case. In Clark v. River Metals, et al., plaintiff claimed that he fell from a large car crusher / bailer machine, resulting in permanent and disabling injuries. Plaintiff sought sums in excess of several million dollars, to compensate for alleged injuries and future lost wages. The federal district court granted summary judgment in favor of defendant, on the basis that plaintiff’s had insufficient expert opinions to support their products liability claim.
