A hearing was held June 4, 2019, in Madison County, Illinois on CLG’s Motion to Dissolve the City of Collinsville’s Temporary Restraining Order. Judge Clarence W. Harrison II presided over the arguments, ultimately granting Craney Law Group’s Motion to Dissolve. The now dissolved temporary restraining order prevented the Collinsville Area Recreation District (CARD) from using $2,500,000.00 dollars to pay a portion of bond debt. Ultimately, this win will save the taxpayers of Madison and parts of St. Clair County approximately $1,379,000.00 from additional interest accruing on the debt.
